Candlelight Vigil

As we prepare for our annual candle light vigil at Ground Zero, we hope that the Ground Zero Candle Vigil project will have participation both publicly and privately in the hearts and homes of all citizens across the United States. We hope that everyone around world,  memorialize those who lost their lives  in the 9/11tragedy, and stir together to be kinder and more giving as we move forward in time.

 

On behave of Millennium Candles on the September 11, 2011, at 9:11 pm, we encourage everyone who is aware of the vigil to light a candle and take a moment of silence. If you believe, as we do, in the collective consciousness which essentially holds what the society thinks and believes; its us the people who can make a shift in the way people think and interact with each other.

 

 Just as the original events caused a consciousness shift that can be felt to this day, our greatest hope is that our vigil candle will heal the hurt and cause an equal or greater shift to repair mankinds humanity. For this to happen we need to focused  our energy on love and hope. As we reflect in a moment of silence , we hope to reach a deeper level, whether this is in public gathering, or in the privacy of you home.
